Job summary

A leading manufacturer is looking for an Occupational Health Nurse to join their team in Chester on a part-time contract basis. You will assess, treat, and prevent work-related injuries and illnesses. Candidates should have experience as an Occupational Health Nurse and hold relevant qualifications. This role requires strong knowledge in various health assessments and ideally some experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working as an Occupational Health Nurse after receiving qualifications.
  • Ideally experienced working in a manufacturing environment, but not essential.

Job description

Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse

Location: Chester (Site-based)

Contract Length: 3 Months (Inside IR35)

Working Hours: 18.75 per week (2.5 days) (Part-Time Position)

SRG is looking for Occupational Health Nurse to join a leading manufacturer based in Chester on a part-time contract basis. As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting and protecting workers health by assessing, treating and preventing work-related injuries and illnesses.

Experience:

  • Must have experience working as an Occupational Health Nurse after receiving qualifications.
  • Knowledge of Spirometry, Vision, Audiometry, Immunisation and Anaphylaxis
  • Ideally experienced working in a manufacturing environment, but not essential

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) License: A nursing degree, either a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a diploma.
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and evidence of revalidation date.
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualification in Occupational Health Nursing
  • Up to date training on audiometry and spirometry.
  • Up to date vaccinations/immunisations and anaphylaxis training.
