A leading UK supermarket chain is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Produce Category. The role focuses on establishing profitable partnerships and implementing a 3-year sales growth plan targeting Food Service and B2B customers. Candidates should have experience in negotiation, relationship building, and sales, particularly within the foodservice sector. The position offers competitive benefits including discounts, annual bonuses, and career development opportunities.
As we continue to expand our customer base, we're looking for a Business Development Manager to help unlock our next phase of growth within Produce. This role is a pivotal commercial role focused on driving non-Morrisons growth across the Produce Category. You'll own and deliver the 3 year sales growth plan, targeting Food Service, B2B and other Manufacturing customers, this could include pub groups, restaurant chains and other food manufacturers. This role can be based from any of our Produce sites, in Northants, Cheshire or more central to our Head Office in Bradford. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, identifying new opportunities, building profitable partnerships and help lead Business Development for Produce.
