Our client is a private equity–backed engineering services business and is seeking a Business Development Manager. As implied by the job title, the role is focused on new business development—this is not a farming role! You will play a key part in driving sales of specialist engineering services to the F&B and pharmaceutical sector, to name just two.
You will be responsible for generating new opportunities, qualifying prospects, running outreach sequences, and arranging discovery meetings that convert into business. The company is highly structured, with excellent back‑office systems and CRM processes in place.
