Role Overview
As Marketing Manager – Pubs, you will support the Head of Marketing to deliver a coherent brand or format strategy that guides guests through a compelling experience. Your role includes creating objectives across the full marketing mix, building market‑leading plans with agencies, championing data and insight, and ensuring campaigns drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver brand/format strategy and support the Head of Marketing in brand/format evolution (brand meetings, Brand DNA books, consumer trends, competitor analysis).
- Activate short‑term (12‑month) brand strategies and run a full end‑to‑end campaign life cycle, ensuring they meet commercial KPIs and are delivered on time and on budget.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure campaigns are fully communicated and executed.
- Optimise the use of multiple marketing channels (owned and earned) to drive awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with consumer planning teams to turn data and insights into compelling propositions, pricing strategies, and product mix.
- Manage the marketing budget for your format, including CAPEX and OPEX.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives with digital, food & drink, trial & innovation, complexity management, and communications teams.
- Maintain strong KPI management and reporting for key agencies and stakeholders.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Previous marketing experience (preferably in pubs or hospitality).
- Marketing qualifications such as MBA, Diploma, CIM, or Business degree are desirable.
- Diligent project manager who is creative and innovative.
- Experience with the core marketing principles – product, price, promotion, place, people & performance.
- Budget management experience.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
