*This is a hybrid-working role, with attendance in the Chelmsford office expected to be to 1 day per week on average, depending on business need.
This is a fixed term contract / secondment opportunity for a period of 12 months.

The role will provide the Council with reliable quantitative and qualitative analysis. This will require gathering and analyzing a wide range of business data and evidence for the development of services and products to support the Council’s business plans. Collaborative working and engagement with Senior Leaders and external stakeholders are required to provide the information and business intelligence needed for effective leadership, governance, and decision-making.
The role requires education to degree level or equivalent by experience, with an understanding of the complexities of working in a political environment. Practical experience and knowledge of analytical tools in an evidence-led organization are needed.
