Position Overview

Join our team as a Senior Project Director within our dedicated Ophthalmology team. In this role, you will work alongside passionate professionals to ensure our clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for global or regional ophthalmology clinical trials across all phases.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring effective communication, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure high-quality execution, timely delivery, and budget adherence.
• Oversee project timelines, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution across multiple studies or programs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and developments in ophthalmology.
• Guide and mentor project managers and clinical operations staff to support growth and project success.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and change orders to meet financial targets.
• Participate in bid defense meetings, proposal development, and strategic planning to support business growth.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with quality standards and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate with medical, regulatory, data management, and biostatistics teams to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinical research professional with a strong background in ophthalmology, meeting the following criteria:

• Proven success in managing ophthalmology clinical trials across multiple phases.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in clinical research, including significant leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of ICH-GCP, global regulatory standards, and compliance in clinical research.
• Thorough understanding of the clinical drug development lifecycle and operational challenges.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver quality results on time and within budget.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
• Experience supporting bid defense meetings, proposals, and strategic planning.
