An interesting & challenging contract opportunity to help support a huge Change initiative within Facilities Management, whereby a dynamic & fast paced Global pharmaceutical organisation need to bring external supply in-house to internal supply, without interruption to some 5000 customers – you will bring Engineering subject matter expertise to UK Operations.
The function sits in the Facilities Management Services Governance Team (c20) and will proactively contribute to the provision, continuous improvement, and delivery of World Class service to the site, ensuring statutory, regulatory and compliance requires are met.
Responsibilities will include:
• Support the safe, effective and compliant delivery of the Project Management responsibilities for Facilities Management Hard Service Governance Team at the Macclesfield campus.
• Supporting the timely and accurate completion of Project feasibility studies and delivery of Capital Investment projects across all functions of the UK campus.
• Co-ordination of Project Engineering activities to ensure safe delivery of works in compliance with Financial, Regulatory and Quality System requirements, ensuring the use of best practice and completion to the highest standard.
• Provide facilitation and engineering / change management expertise for assigned project – included but not limited to the change management activities, Functions projects across the span of hard services and utilities aligned to the Function and campus priorities and Site Master Plan.
• Working in close collaboration with FM Central Project Services (CPS) Team to ensure the delivery of Change Management are delivered in line with campus process and best practice.
• Working in close collaboration with the internal customers / stakeholders to ensure the timely and appropriate facilitate of the compilation and approval of project documentation in line with predetermined project framework and Quality System change control.
• Working in collaboration with Finance for the raising of Capital Expenditure Request and effective management of the fixed asset register in support of financial auditing.
• Effective project progress, budget control and reporting to the team members, leadership / project sponsors.
• Supervision of externally provided support / Engineering resources, including the planning, co-ordination and hosting of visiting Engineers/ stakeholders – providing Project Management oversight of all change activities subject to.
• The job holder will be required to coordinate and manage the timely and compliant delivery of Project Engineering activities across the campus for an array on internal customers.
Skills Required
• Strong project management of change programme across facilities / engineering service disciplines
• The job holder must have people management experience of controlling visiting contractors, safe working methods and practices, the use of Permit to Work systems, including the reviewing of safe working methods and associated risk assessments.
• Must be familiar with the operation and engineering aspects of plant and equipment.
• The role holder will have considerable technical knowledge and high level of expertise of the job, strong mechanical, electrical and/or process aptitude and a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and process systems, with strong project management experience.
Desirable
Professionally accredited engineer, Chartered or equivalent with a recognised European accrediting body.
