This position is for 27.5 hours per week

Hours of work will be during term time only

Salary Range: G01 - £23,656 to £24,404 (SCP Range: 2 to 4) pro rata for part time and term time

We require a Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with medical needs. We are a vibrant and exciting town school, enjoying excellent relationships with children, parents, carers and the wider community.

Applicants should be friendly, able to work as part of a team, collaborate with outside agencies, and establish genuine relationships with children and their families. Experience supporting children’s learning is essential. Good standards of numeracy and literacy, along with an understanding of child development, are required. An NVQ Level 2 or proven equivalent would be advantageous but not essential; relevant experience will also be considered.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of our ALNCO and the class teacher.

This is a temporary contract until 31st August 2026 unless the child being supported leaves the school.
