The sales integrated rep is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with Key Clients to position Maersk as the preferred logistics partner.
The sales integrated rep will develop relationships with senior stakeholders throughout the customer’s global organization and facilitate the building of effective solutions to help resolve customer logistics pain points. This will support revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction to achieve the sales, volume, and financial targets.
This role can be based in Paris, Marseille, Lille, or Le Havre.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an account development plan for growth aligned with the customer’s strategic plan.
- Lead and engage the global account team for the customer.
- Drive the sales pipeline for significant growth.
- Deliver results from sales activities within the customer portfolio by identifying, qualifying, consulting, developing value propositions, and selling large-scale and complex supply chain solutions.
- Increase logistics share of wallet through selling complex supply chain solutions.
- Ensure the customer meets volume commitments and address shortfalls proactively, with renegotiations as necessary.
- Practice consultative sales to differentiate in the market by probing needs and suggesting solutions, and build understanding of all service offerings to cross-sell logistics products.
We are looking for:
- An industry professional knowledgeable about the retail vertical in France from a logistics perspective.
- Excellent communication, networking, interpersonal, and influencing skills to communicate at all levels.
- A leader capable of operating effectively in a matrix environment and creating networks across diverse groups.
- A proven track record of targeting, pursuing, and winning complex opportunities by selling to senior management.
- An expert in international supply chain solutions with the ability to leverage them strategically.
- Ability to engage executive leadership during key sales process stages.
- Experience in developing and implementing integrated transport and logistics solutions beyond point solutions.
- Collaborative, results-driven, customer-centric, self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Empathy and the ability to turn customer needs into business opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration.
- Fluent in English and French; Spanish is a plus.
- Previous sales experience in the logistics industry, ideally in retail or lifestyle sectors, including account management or business development roles.
