This well-respected European Engineering consultancy has a vast portfolio of designed and delivered projects in the Middle East region and globally.
Due to company growth and having won world-class projects recently, this firm is expanding their team and inviting candidates for the role of Project Manager to apply.
This professional will be responsible for managing projects from an engineering consultancy stance, managing client relationships, overseeing the financial and design management of major build projects around the GCC. Multiple projects around the GCC will include high-rise, mixed-use, and hospitality developments. Coordination and management of external sub-consultants, contractors, as well as the internal engineering team will be required. Reporting to the Director, this Project Manager will be responsible for chairing meetings, overall project reporting, and technical review of documents to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.
This candidate will have around 10-15 years of experience post-graduation of an Architect/MEP/Structural Engineering Degree and have worked in the Middle East for a minimum of the last 3 years in a similar role on major build projects. Further qualifications within Project Management are required. The ability to prove experience delivering projects from design to completion within the Middle East is necessary, particularly on projects where client and contractor relationships were maintained.
Excellent engineering technical knowledge is required, with a sense of design sensibility to ensure the original design is maintained. Expertise in managing FIDIC is required.
Strong communication skills are necessary to present and manage client relationships, chair meetings, and negotiate with external parties. Team leadership skills to drive the teams to success are essential.
