As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising all aspects of assigned construction projects. This includes working closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that every project meets the established standards of quality, is delivered on time, and stays within budget. Your expertise in risk management, contract administration, and job site safety will contribute significantly to the successful execution of projects. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractor and vendor activities for project execution and compliance.
  • Monitor construction progress and make adjustments to project plans as necessary to meet client demands.
  • Ensure that all safety regulations and industry standards are adhered to at the project site.
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on schedules.
  • Manage procurement of construction materials and negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Lead project meetings and provide leadership and direction to project teams.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including progress, financial performance, and compliance evaluations.
  • Facilitate closeout procedures and ensure all project completion documentation is satisfactorily concluded.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field required.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in construction project management or similar roles preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, including contract administration and quality assurance.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
