Job Description
As a Service Engineer - Electrical, you will be at the forefront of delivering technical solutions, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance of electrical systems. Positioned in a dynamic role, you are expected to leverage your technical expertise to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues, maintaining equipment reliability and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to identify electrical issues in systems and equipment.
- Implement appropriate solutions and repairs to maintain system functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and offer technical support.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations in all activities.
- Keep comprehensive records of all service activities, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Specify and order necessary spare parts and tools required for repairs.
- Provide technical training and guidance to client personnel and junior engineers.
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades and recommend improvements to clients.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers to develop innovative service solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical engineering and technology.
- Participate in workshops and training programs to enhance technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
- Minimum three years of experience in field service engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with clients and teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites as required.
