Electrical Engineer jobs in United Arab Emirates

We are looking for an accountable Electrical Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will resource and manage all the technical activities conception to completion. With relevant experience in handling site supervision and coordination.

• Preparation of design documents like SLD Load Schedules data sheets loop diagrams hook up drawings instrument index I/O list etc. in water and waste water treatment projects
• Site activities not limited to supervision of installation of electrical equipment instruments panels and cable laying and terminations.
• Define and produce control system programming documents to explain general control logic and produce required HMI display pages.
• Technical and commercial evaluation for procurement of control systems and field instruments.
• Witnessing critical instrumentation pre-commissioning activities review of requirements for temporary equipment to facilitate commissioning/start-up activities.
• Conduct FAT (factory acceptance test) and SAT (site acceptance test) activities for electrical and automation systems.
• Completion of basic functional tests for field Instruments with technical data sheet loop drawing and ensure range alarm trip set points.
• Programming of PLC s (programmable logic controllers) for all small-scale projects.
• Produce scope-of-work from contract document for electrical instrumentation system and send for competitive bidding.
• Review vendor drawing and other technical documents to ensure proper interface and compliance with applicable contract requirements and correspond with vendor on technical matters to ensure that corrective action is taken where necessary.
• Work in close coordination with electrical and instrumentation subcontractor to ensure that all the electrical and instrumentation works has been done as per the specification and consultant requirement.
• Prepare procedure for site inspections.
• Submit technical documents to consultants and discuss the noncompliance issues if any.
• Client and subcontractor liaison site meetings.
• Fiber optic cable termination supervision and estimation Design and selection of Telephone system CCTV system PA System Access Controland preparing system layouts
• Preparation of Operation and Control Philosophy Logic Drawings Loop Drawings Junction Box terminations Cable Schedule Panel Drawings
• Preparation of Technical and Commercial Bid Evaluation Purchase orders
• Datasheet for Flowmeters Pressure Transmitters Pressure Gauges switches Control Valves Shutdown Valves Motorized Operated Valves ON OFF valves Water quality Analyzers Stack analyzers
• Preparation of Cable tray layout JB Layout Hook Ups

• Proven working experience as an Electrical Engineer in water & waste water treatment fields in UAE/Gulf
• Minimum 5 years and Oil & Gas experience is an added advantage
• Excellent Advanced MS Office skills Project management skill.
• Familiarity with rules regulations best practices and performance standards
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• Project management and supervision skills
• Decision making ability and leadership skills
• UAE driving license
• Good Written and verbal communication in English
