About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic ECP Group Sales Specialist with a strong background in sales within the long- or short-term insurance sector.

As a skilled salesperson, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building and maintaining relationships, and assisting clients in selecting suitable coverage for their employees. This position plays a key role in advancing our client’s mission to provide accessible and effective employee insurance solutions.
Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans is essential.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Matric certificate (essential).

  • RE5 certification (required).

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma (advantageous).

  • Minimum of 1 year of long- or short-term insurance sales experience.

  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience essential.

  • Excellent fluency in English and Afrikaans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets and expand the client base.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through personal networks and online platforms.

  • Market products to both self-sourced leads and those generated by the company’s marketing team.

  • Sell employee staff cover products via the broker portal, ensuring efficient follow-up and support.

  • Meet with prospects in person and through online channels such as Teams and Zoom.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance the customer value proposition.
