Responsibilities include:

1. Conduct pre-placement and exit medical exams in compliance with regulations.
2. Conduct and review health risk assessments annually or as required.
3. Provide medical assessments to determine fitness for duty.
4. Maintain and assist with the management of the company's chronic disease program.
5. Report and assist on all injuries on duty (IOD) and occupational diseases to the Compensation Commissioner.
6. File and maintain legally required documents (soft and hard copies) and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
7. Compile necessary clinic management reports.
8. Promote employee health and safety through an Employee Health Program.
9. Assess and manage disability cases.
10. Manage stock control for medical supplies and company clinic licensing.
11. Educate first aiders on emergency procedures and waste disposal.
12. Organize annual employee auditory screenings.
13. Provide findings for drug test screening as part of pre-employment medical clearance.

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Nurse with the SANC.
• Additional qualification in Occupational Health.
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
• Additional qualifications in audiometry, spirometry, vision screening, and dispensing HIV/AIDS certificates are a plus.
• Basic computer skills, valid driver’s license, and own reliable transport.
• Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy.
