Commercial Truck Sales Specialist required in Newcastle.

An opportunity for an experienced Commercial Truck Sales Specialist is required for permanent employment based in Northern KZN.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a reputable brand, selling new and used commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and fleet units, to both existing and new clients across multiple sectors.

Salary: Market-related basic + Commission + Fuel Allowance + Vehicle (Highly negotiable).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell a range of commercial trucks and related fleet products
  • Develop new business through cold calling, prospecting, and strategic networking
  • Maintain relationships with existing key accounts and clients in the region
  • Accurately assess client needs and propose tailored vehicle and finance solutions
  • Conduct regular client visits, fleet inspections, and onsite product presentations
  • Coordinate vehicle orders, pre-deliveries, handovers, and aftersales follow-up
  • Ensure all sales processes, documentation, and CRM records are maintained

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ sales experience in the truck / commercial vehicle industry
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent understanding of commercial vehicle specs, capabilities, and sales trends
  • Well-connected in transport, construction, logistics, agriculture, or fleet sectors
  • Code 08 or 14 Driver’s Licence (essential)
  • Strong negotiation, closing and customer service skills
  • CRM and basic computer literacy
  • Self-driven, structured, and well-presented
  • Traceable references required
