Duties & Responsibilities
As a Retail Worksite Sales Specialist, you will drive the expansion of their retail sales channel by engaging municipal employees and large workforce groups directly at their place of work. This is a high-impact role focused on face-to-face sales and community relationship-building.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting in-person product engagements with employees at worksites.
  • Promoting and selling the company\'s Family Cover solution.
  • Generating and nurturing your leads and converting them into clients.
  • Hosting on-site group presentations and individual consultations.
  • Completing and submitting digital applications via tablet or laptop.
  • Achieving and exceeding weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Ensuring policy activation and monitoring of first-premium payment and policy retention.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with worksite and employer contacts.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance sales (long- or short-term).
  • RE5 certification.
  • Matric certificate.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Existing connections or access to Cape Town-based worksites, especially government or municipal entities.
  • Proficient in digital sales processes using tablets/laptops.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of PERSAL and stop-order systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Based in Cape Town.

Preferred but Not Essential:

  • A diploma or degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience selling funeral and/or life cover.
