A fast-paced manufacturing company in Cape Town is seeking a Trade-Tested Millwright to join their team. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years experience in a plastics production environment and a strong aptitude for electrical and mechanical maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery while ensuring plant safety standards are upheld. Flexibility for overtime and commitment to continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in plastics production or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Solid knowledge of plant safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic fault finding and maintenance on production machinery.
  • Maintain and repair electrical distribution systems.
  • Ensure machines run efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Uphold and improve plant safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Be part of a team that values continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
