Job summary
A logistics company in East London is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage inventory and ensure accurate stock control. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Responsibilities
- Ensure correct preparation of vehicles for loading.
- Manage vehicle keys and capture data on Salesforce.
- Verify vehicle codes against NATIS documents.
Skills
We are looking for a detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our East London team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.
- Ensure correct and timeous preparation of vehicles for loading and online auctions
- Manage vehicle keys (tagging daily and capturing on Salesforce)
- Ensure 360° vehicle images are completed
- Correctly mark vehicles as starters and load non-starter comments
- Verify vehicle codes and year models against NATIS documents
- Escalate discrepancies or issues to management immediately
- Upload all vehicles received and stocked via the mobile app within 24 hours
- Ensure windows are closed or wrapped where required
- Allocate stock stickers daily
- Assist customers, clients, assessors, and investigators when needed
- Safely remove and store customer personal items
- At least 1 years’ experience in stock control
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer literacy (mobile apps and systems experience is an advantage)
