Job summary
A reputable healthcare provider in Pretoria East is seeking a mature and experienced Medical Receptionist to join its fast-paced team. This role requires previous experience in a medical reception environment and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Afrikaans and English. This position offers structured professional growth, exposure to specialized workflows, and a positive work environment. A salary range of R18000 – R20000 PM is provided, along with training opportunities and flexible working hours.

Skills
A reputable Ophthalmology practice in Pretoria East is looking for a mature and experienced Medical Receptionist to join their fast-moving team.

- Rotation between doctors after a few months, offering broad exposure to different sub-specialisations

- Previous experience in a medical reception environment (essential)
- Ideally proficiency in GoodX Desktop
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A team-oriented approach, with the ability to stay composed and efficient under pressure
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
- Flexibility with working hours
- Preference will be given to candidates that can start immediately (to allow time for a shadow-period)
Regular working hours are Monday to Friday. However, theatre days will require early starts and occasional later finishes depending on the doctor’s schedule.
