Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our electronic scheduling system - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member - Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate and complete patient information is collected - Verify insurance information and assist with insurance-related inquiries - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Process payments and maintain accurate financial records - Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely appointments - Maintain a clean and organized reception area - Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures - Other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using electronic medical records and scheduling systems - Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies - Customer service-oriented and able to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism Working Conditions: This is a full-time position, with the standard work hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. However, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient appointments.
