Job summary

A global financial services provider seeks a Senior Risk Administrator in Cape Town. This role is key in managing local risk, supporting compliance with regulations, and enhancing the risk control framework. Candidates should have robust experience in risk management within the financial sector, preferably in fund management or administration. Responsibilities include risk assessment, local risk reporting, and supporting the Head of Risk in regulatory communications. Join a dynamic team and contribute to maintaining a strong risk culture.

Qualifications

  • Experience of Risk Management in the financial services industry, preferably in fund management or administration.
  • Track record in both First and Second lines of defense.
  • Strong understanding of Risk Frameworks in a Financial Services context.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Risk in managing risk by identifying and reporting on key controls.
  • Ensure compliance with local risk reporting and communication with Regulators.
  • Contribute to risk management practices and oversight of Business Continuity plans.
