We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team in Westville, South Africa. In this role, you will leverage your travel expertise and passion for sports to curate unique travel packages for our clients, ensuring they experience the thrill of live sporting events around the globe.

• Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, budget, and desired sporting event experiences
• Research travel logistics, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and activities, tailored to the specific sporting event
• Source and negotiate with reputable tour operators and sports travel specialists to secure the best possible packages and pricing
• Develop detailed and compelling trip proposals, outlining itineraries, inclusions, and pricing structures
• Manage the booking process, including flight reservations, hotel confirmations, and activity ticketing
• Oversee supplier invoicing and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Invoice clients accurately and efficiently
• Manage client expectations throughout the travel planning and booking process
• Stay current on industry trends, sporting events calendars, and travel regulations
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, retailers, and travel suppliers

• Sales Growth: Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets for sports travel packages
• Client Satisfaction: Maintain a high client satisfaction rating as measured by client surveys and feedback
• Conversion Rate: Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings at a consistent rate
• Average Booking Value: Increase the average value of sports travel packages booked
• Operational Efficiency: Manage booking processes efficiently, with minimal delays
• Client Retention: Maintain a strong client base through repeat bookings and referrals

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role
• Proven experience in consulting with clients and understanding their travel needs
• In-depth knowledge of the global sporting landscape and major sporting events
• Strong understanding of travel logistics, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and ticketing
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in travel booking and reservation software systems
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Outgoing, friendly, and confident personality with a passion for sports travel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
