The purpose of the position is to provide proficient nursing services within the policies and procedures, governing legislation, and good corporate governance to ensure customer satisfaction.

1. Perform clinical rounds with doctors.
2. Be responsible and accountable for the physical, social, and emotional care of all patients allocated to you on any shift.
3. Conduct hourly patient rounds and ensure that doctor's orders are carried out.
4. Keep the doctor informed of test results, changes in patient conditions, and adverse reactions to treatment.
5. Ensure all patient needs are met by assessing needs, planning, implementing nursing care plans, and evaluating the efficacy of care rendered.
6. Record all interactions and interventions with patients on the appropriate documentation.

• Grade 12
• SANC Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Diploma / Degree in nursing leading to qualification as a Registered Nurse
• 2-3 years experience as a Registered Nurse (advantageous)
