Key Overview and Responsibilities

The Bulk Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving growth in bulk sales by securing profitable new business across a full range of bulk products and applications within the Reef Region. This role involves maintaining and servicing the company's current bulk regional customer base.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Growing company sales through prospecting for new clients.
  2. Maintaining existing customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  3. Enhancing Air Products' market presence through various marketing initiatives.
  4. Achieving set annual sales targets.
  5. Handling administration and related ad-hoc duties.
  6. Actively acquiring industry knowledge for personal and professional development.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  • Matric with Maths and Science.
  • BEng / BSc Engineering qualification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of technical selling experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the gas/chemical or related industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and computer literate.
  • Proven ability to negotiate at high levels and build strong customer relationships.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and report writing skills.
  • Valid unendorsed Code 8 (B) driver's license and own reliable transport.
