Job description

Job Title: Human Capital Officer: Recruitment

Location: Gauteng, Centurion

Deadline: April 26

Requirements:

  • Degree / National Diploma in Human Resources Management, Development, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in Human Resources environment.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the job may be considered during the selection process.

Key Performance Areas:

Recruitment & Selection:

  • Ensure recruitment requisitions are completed and approved before starting the recruitment process.
  • Prepare internal & external job advertisements in conjunction with Line Management.
  • Advertise vacancies internally and externally according to the recruitment process.
  • Manage shortlisting meetings.
  • Arrange interviews, assessments & verification checks.
  • Provide feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Onboarding:

  • Prepare employment contracts, remuneration offers, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Ensure Line Managers are aware of onboarding tasks.
  • Collect all relevant documents from new employees prior to commencement.

Induction & Employee Management:

  • Coordinate the preliminary induction program.
  • Update staff profile regularly.
  • Ensure employee information is current, including job and remuneration details.
  • Ensure reporting structures are up to date.
  • Support employees regarding relevant processes and general use.

Human Capital Policy:

  • Support implementation, maintenance, and execution of HR strategies, plans, and policies.
  • Ensure HR policy compliance through workshops, advice, and audits.

Human Capital General Administration:

  • Conduct leave reconciliations.
  • Implement termination procedures.
  • Process resignation acknowledgements.
  • Calculate termination payments.
  • Facilitate exit procedures.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Support administration of remuneration and benefits systems.
  • Administer benefits (pension, medical aid).
  • Draft correspondence regarding remuneration and benefits changes.

Employment Equity:

  • Update employment equity statistics monthly.
  • Gather data for annual employment equity submissions.
  • Submit employment equity reports.
  • Prepare information for EE Committee meetings.

Documents Management:

  • Manage all Human Capital documents effectively.

Reporting:

  • Generate and submit HR reports and statistics regularly.
  • Assist in compiling the HR report for the organization's annual report.
