We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Operations Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our IT operations team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our Azure-based environments.
This role involves working closely with DevOps, security, and development teams to support scalable and efficient cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities : Monitor, maintain, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.Deploy, configure, and manage Azure services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Azure Monitor, Azure AD, Resource Manager, Networking, etc.
Implement and support infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.Ensure security and compliance across cloud environments by following best practices and company policies.Support and enhance CI / CD pipelines and automation tools in collaboration with DevOps teams.Respond to incidents, troubleshoot cloud-related issues, and drive root cause analysis.Perform regular system updates, backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management.Document cloud environments, configurations, and processes.Participate in on-call rotation and incident response processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications : 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or operations roles.Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and tools.Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Monitoring, and Security Center.Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI / CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and automation.Solid understanding of ITIL principles and operational best practices.Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
