A financial services company in Johannesburg is seeking a finance professional to process payments, manage creditors, and assist with month-end procedures. The ideal candidate holds a B.Com in Finance/Accounting and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Successful applicants will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure, with a willingness to work extended hours during month-end.

Responsibilities
- Process trust and business EFT payments.
- Manage and maintain business creditors and refunds.
- Liaise with auditors and suppliers.
- Assist with month-end procedures.
Skills
Education
- A Degree in B.Com Finance / Accounting
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive approach to work
- Ability to administer and execute instructions from receipt to completion with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills with close attention to detail
- Ability to work towards tight deadlines in a highly pressurised environment
- Willingness to work extended hours during month-end
- Process trust and business EFT payments
- Manage and maintain business creditors, advocates, directors, and staff refunds
- Liaise with auditors and suppliers
- Assist with month-end procedures
- Maintain financial files and records
- Assist the manager with all departmental matters when required
- Attend to telephonic and email queries and requests
- Assist with other departmental responsibilities as required
