We are looking for ahighly motivatedJunior Financial Analyst to support the Finance team. More than a number cruncher, we are looking for someone who canlook at thepayments industry,take time tounderstand thefinancialmechanics, and translatetheminto modelstoinformstrategicdecisions.

An ideal candidate will have a keen interest in both analysis and explanation. Someone who can develop and test a hypothesis and explain their findings. This role requires curiosity, conviction and collaboration and will provide you with the opportunity to significantly develop your financial modelling, data analysis and presentation abilities.

Strategic Finance & Modelling:

• Financial modelling:Build andmaintainfinancial models to supportstrategic decision-making, including forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Pricing and feasibility:Work with our commercial team todevelop our value proposition to merchants, balancing our dual needs of driving adoption andmaintainingprofitability.
• Data Procurement & Integrity:Collaboratewith our data and core finance teams toextractaccuratedatasets for modelling.
• Executiveand board reporting:Assist with producingeffective, informativenarrative-driven presentationstocommunicatecommentary on prior performanceandrecommendationsfor futurestrategy.
• Stakeholdersupport:Anticipatetheneedsof stakeholders,setclearexpectationsand timelines, andprovideinsights adaptedappropriatelyto different audiences.
• Market research and industry learning:Monitorthepaymentslandscape(locally and globally)toidentifyemerging trends, regulatory changes, and new opportunities.

• Bachelor’sdegreerequired. Degree discipline is flexible for candidates whodemonstratestrong quantitative reasoning, analytical thinking, and applied problem-solving skills.
• 2-3 years of relevant experienceinmanagement consulting;corporate finance;business,financialorinvestment analysis;or a related field.
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Experience withPowerBIand SQLis abigplus
• A proactive problem solver who enjoys interpretingcomplex datasetsandsolving puzzles
• Ability towork with stakeholders across a variety of departments andexpertise, and especially an ability to explaincomplex topics to a nontechnical audience
• Curiosity,inquisitivenessand a willingness tolearn
