Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a motivated sales professional to achieve targets and build strategic client relationships. This role involves negotiation, sales forecasting, and client management in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering, possess sales experience in the construction industry, and be proficient in English and Chinese. A valid driving license and own vehicle are essential for site visits and meetings.
Qualifications
- Minimum degree or diploma in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Sales experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
- Proficient in English and Chinese for client liaison.
- Valid class 3 driving license is required.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by preparing quotations and negotiating contracts.
- Generate new sales opportunities by identifying customer needs.
- Monitor Accounts Receivables to ensure timely payment collection.
- Build strategic client relationships through CRM tools.
- Oversee project execution to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop demand forecasts during urgency to maintain efficiency.
- Manage logistical coordination and customer-reported issues.

Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by preparing timely quotations, negotiating contracts in line with pricing guidelines, and providing accurate sales forecasting data.
- Proactively generate new sales opportunities by identifying customer needs, analyzing market trends, and networking within the industry.
- Achieve payment collection targets (60-day cycle) by monitoring Accounts Receivables, resolving billing disputes proactively, and collaborating with customers to ensure timely settlements.
- Build strategic client relationships with key stakeholders (HQ/contract managers) through CRM tools to drive retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnerships.
- Oversee project execution and order fulfilment, including conducting site visits, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery.
- Develop demand forecasts and prioritize urgent orders during demand surges to maintain operational efficiency and meet dynamic client needs.
- Manage logistical coordination (e.g., trailer management) and resolve customer-reported issues efficiently through case management.
- Execute additional sales-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Min Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering is preferred.
- Candidate with sales experience or relevant role in construction industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge or experience with SAP software, AutoCAD, Salesforce, PowerBI, is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (including PowerPoint for presentations)
- Proficiency in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking client/customers.
- Possess own vehicle and valid class 3 driving license
