Job summary
A wholesale company in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and support business growth. Responsibilities include handling accounts, preparing financial statements, and managing taxation. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and proven experience in accounting functions, preferably managing a small team. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required, while experience with NAVISION is a plus. This role offers stable working hours and a professional environment.

We are a well-established wholesale company dealing in building materials, hardware, plumbing, and heating equipment and supplies (including cement, sand, and related products). We are seeking a responsible and experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations and support business growth.
- Handle full sets of accounts and prepare financial statements (FS)
- Generate sales and cash flow reports
- Manage and verify bank transactions
- Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and debt collection functions
- Handle checks from suppliers and vendors
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings
- Manage taxation and auditing matters
- Conduct quarterly inventory supervision and back-office preparations
- Supervise and manage at least 2 accounting staff
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Proven experience handling full accounting functions
- Experience managing at least 2 employees
- Proficient in email, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Willing to work in the Changi / Eastern area
- Experience with NAVISION accounting software is an advantage (optional)
- Annual sick leave in accordance with MOM regulations
