We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to independently manage all aspects of the company's accounting operations. As the sole accounting professional in the organization, the ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work autonomously and provide leadership in all accounting matters.

• End-to-End Accounting: Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end close processes.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, manage, and monitor the company's budget, providing accurate financial forecasts to support business decisions.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and safeguard company assets.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate external audits, prepare necessary documentation, and ensure the company meets all statutory and tax obligations.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize financial resources and liquidity, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Policy Development: Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and systems to support company goals and ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support where needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred).
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a small business or a similar role that requires independent work.

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, and Singapore tax regulations, including GST.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software (QuickBook Online), and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, create financial models, and provide insights that drive decision-making.
• Independence: Comfortable working autonomously, managing all accounting functions without direct supervision.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to present financial information to management and non-financial stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot accounting issues independently.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
