Job summary
A logistics company in Singapore seeks an experienced professional to manage customer inquiries and handle all aspects of import and export shipments. You will coordinate with various stakeholders including carriers and customs. A minimum of 2 years in Freight Forwarding is required, along with strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. Good compensation and allowances are offered for the right candidate.

- Proven track records in relevant fields can suffice without a diploma.
- Must have knowledge of Import and Export processes.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of import and export shipments.
- Maintain communication with vendors, customers, and carriers.
- Provide solutions for shipment and space issues.
Skills
Education
The individual is required to handle customer inquiries/ request for quotation, bookings, and coordination. It would include create bookings in Company’s proprietary freight forwarding system, and coordinating with carrier, depot, trucking, insurance, and customs clearance.
- Handle full set of import and export shipments and shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Delivery Order, Permit Declaration, Notice of Arrival, etc.
- Prompt response and close communication with vendors, customers, carriers and overseas agents.
- Offer solutions to client for shipment/space.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Freight Forwarding.
- A general diploma in Freight Forwarding / Logistics is preferred. However, candidate without above qualification but with multiple years of proven relevant track records will be considered too.
- Working knowledge of Import and Export processes.
