As we expand into new cities and channels, we are looking for a forward-thinking Business Developer to help us grow our presence and create strategic opportunities for scale.

Job Title

Business Developer

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location: Riyadh - Almrooj - Olya Main St (with field travel as needed)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic business opportunities, forming partnerships, and supporting TapEat's expansion into new markets such as Jeddah and Dammam. This includes working with government programs, incubators, POS/payment providers, and large F&B brands. You will play a key role in creating long-term value and accelerating TapEat's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in untapped markets (e.g. cities, verticals, franchises).
  • Build partnerships with POS providers, delivery aggregators, payment services, and logistics companies.
  • Represent TapEat in meetings with government programs, investment agencies, and accelerators.
  • Develop proposals, pitch decks, and partnership agreements.
  • Work with the CEO to align expansion strategy with business vision.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to find partnership or acquisition opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to pilot business growth campaigns.
  • Help coordinate and launch pilot projects in new cities or sectors.
  • Support the CEO in preparing documentation for potential investors or grants.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, strategy, or partnerships.
  • Prior experience in a tech startup, F&B technology, or SaaS is a plus.
  • Experience working with or inside government programs (e.g., Monsha'at, Namaa, or local accelerators) is highly valued.

Skills:

  • Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong presentation and pitch skills.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient with PowerPoint/Keynote, Excel, and CRM tools.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • MBA or certifications in business strategy are a plus.
