Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects. This posting serves as an expression of interest for candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh should it be awarded to Bechtel.

In this role, the Survey Manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring the surveying program and has responsibility for the performance management of the contractors\' survey program. You will coordinate and update survey strategy, provide technical support for laser scanning and meteorology surveys, and oversee survey CAD drawings, instrument calibration, subcontractor survey work, and project drone operations.

• Implementation of the project safety and project environmental programs relating to survey activities
• Implement and administer project wide survey program
• Provide technical direction to survey team and performance management of contractor survey crews
• Manage the preparation of technical requirements for third party survey provider to establish and maintain the project’s survey control network
• Manage the performance, safety and quality compliance of the third party survey teams
• Provide support to field based survey operations and contractors
• Implement and maintain all area survey data
• Implementation and control the survey request form program
• Implement and maintain the survey equipment calibration audit program of contractor equipment
• Implementation of project quality control program relating to field survey work
• Manage the process of contractor compliance of survey completion documentation including "As-Built" records
• Perform verifications of contractor survey points

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills at varying levels of the organization.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to effectively influence outcomes and escalate issues appropriately.
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated to succeed.
• Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
• Previous, related, working experience in the middle-east is highly preferred.
