About Us

Soar is a global fintech startup that specializes in financing and investment. Currently headquartered in Saudi Arabia, Soar is growing throughout the region with a mission to help people achieve their financial goals with innovative financial and property investment solutions and tools through its multi‑purpose platform, designed to offer a simple and seamless user experience.

Role Summary

As the Director / Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications, you will be the single point of accountability for building and managing Soar's entire portfolio of internal business systems. This is a high‑impact, strategic role responsible for selecting, implementing, and integrating the critical software (like SAP, Hubspot, and our Treasury/Loan Management Systems) that will power our growth. You will act as the key bridge between our business leaders, procurement, cybersecurity, and engineering teams, owning the implementation roadmap and ensuring our tech stack integrates seamlessly with our data warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Requirements: Partner with business leaders (Finance, Sales, etc.) to define business requirements and develop the strategic roadmap for all enterprise applications.
  • Selection & Procurement: Lead the end‑to‑end technology selection process, from RFP to contract, working with Procurement to select both the software and the partners who will implement it.
  • Implementation & Project Ownership: Act as the primary internal owner for all system implementations, managing external vendor timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful, on‑time launch.
  • Technical Integration & Architecture: Own the integration strategy, collaborating with Engineering, Data, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure all systems are secure and feed seamlessly into our central data warehouse.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key technology vendors and serve as the central point of communication for all internal stakeholders on project progress, risks, and timelines.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 8-12+ years of experience in enterprise applications, business systems, or strategic IT leadership. (The title will be commensurate with experience).
  • Banking & Financial Systems Expertise: Deep experience in the banking or fintech sector is essential.
  • Proven track record leading the implementation of large‑scale ERP (e.g., SAP), CRM, and core banking systems (TMS, LMS, etc.).
  • Regulatory & Regional Knowledge: Direct, hands‑on experience with SAMA compliance and cybersecurity standards.
  • Proven experience operating within the Saudi Arabia market is required.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical understanding of modern system architecture, data flow, API integrations, and data warehousing principles.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Exceptional ability to manage executive‑level stakeholders, translate business needs into technical solutions, and hold external implementation vendors accountable.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in a high‑growth, fast‑paced startup environment (in addition to banking).
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or enterprise architecture.
