Sales Engineer – Saudi (Mechanical/Chemical Engineers)
Developing and pursing new business opportunities for the company and their esteemed agencies in SAUDI projects for oil and gas process equipment. Research and identify new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development with National Oil & Gas companies and EPC contractors.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with National Oil & Gas Companies in the MENA region to ensure that informed and educated on new technologies, plans and services and that the Company is operating in-line with the National Oil & Gas Company regulations and best practices.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROCESS:
•Be the front face for the business and explore new business opportunities in the MENA
market. To be good at relationship and bridging the gap between the customer and the suppliers (Agencies)
•Develop and articulate a comprehensive tactical business development plan to accomplish the Client’s business goals.
•Identify, evaluate, and develop sales strategies to penetrate and get new accounts. This includes the preparation of presentations & tenders.
•Ensure prequalification of the Company with existing and potential customers, and government agencies to enable Company to bid for projects within its sphere of capabilities.
•Carry out risk identification, profit potential and analysis for each business target.
•Manage tender submissions, including liaison with other required functions for the submission of bid documents along with Internal organization’s team and suppliers as on when required.
•Gather and analyze market intelligence for new projects and opportunities.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT:
•Create, develop, and maintain a professional and strong business relationship with key decision-makers among potential clients in the oil & gas industry, governmental departments, EPC contractors and consultants in SAUDI and GCC markets.
•Ensure communication of customer needs and expectations between the Client and the technology provider selected for and between Departments in the Company.
•Foster and develop positive customer relationships for increased and repeat business.
GENERAL:
•Review bids/proposals.
•Mentoring team members for improved performance individually and corporately.
•Work in line with the Company’s compliance and business conduct guidelines.
•Implementation of a Health and Safety management system.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
•Basic understanding of the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and refinery Process design and fabrication of oil and gas processing equipment.
•Ability to lead project proposals, including conceptualization, client interaction, budgeting, schedule development, delivery, and presentation
•Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills
•Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
•Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
•Proficient with MS Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
