ARTIS XDS STUDIO SDN. BHD. is seeking a meticulous and experienced Technical & Project Coordinator to join our production team in Petaling Jaya. This is a crucial role for a professional dedicated to translating conceptual designs into precise, buildable technical drawings for our high‑end retail and interior projects.

This role is the bridge between the design concept and the construction site, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance across all project phases.

• Technical Drafting & Production Support: Produce comprehensive 2D technical drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed joinery) using AutoCAD, and assist in developing 3D models for technical verification.
• Design Translation: Convert conceptual sketches and 3D models from the design team into accurate, dimensioned construction drawing sets.
• Project & Production Coordination: Act as a key liaison between the design team, external contractors, and suppliers. Track production timelines, manage drawing revisions, and coordinate site logistics to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
• Standards Management: Maintain and enforce studio drafting standards, templates, and drawing protocols for consistency and quality control.
• Documentation & Quality Control: Prepare comprehensive tender and construction packages, including material specifications, schedules, and drawing registers. Conduct site visits to ensure construction adheres to technical drawings and quality standards.

• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and strong working knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, or Rhino).
• Ability to read and interpret 3D models from various software platforms for technical drawing production.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing, particularly in retail and commercial interiors.
• Attention to detail: Exceptional accuracy in dimensioning and annotation.

• A Diploma or Degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related technical field with 3+ years of professional experience as a CAD Draftsman, preferably in the retail or commercial sector.

• Proven ability to read, interpret, and produce complex construction documents.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to technical accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
