Job summary
An engineering design firm in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to collaborate on and prepare detailed technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Engineering and at least 2 years of experience with AutoCAD and CAD software like Solid Edge and SolidWorks. Responsibilities include the generation of outline drawings, executing drawing changes, and assisting in design development. - Minimum of 2 years' experience using AutoCAD.
- At least 2 years' experience in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
- 2 years' experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry.

Responsibilities
- Prepare outline drawings for customer requests with accuracy.
- Generate drawings in response to new drawing requests.
- Execute drawing changes reflecting modifications precisely.
- Create parts drawings upon customer confirmation.
- Prepare works orders and maintain drawing distribution lists.
- Compile comprehensive bills of materials for design projects.
- Measure and prepare site job drawings adhering to specifications.
- Meet personal skill development targets for continuous improvement.
