Overview

Finance - Analyst / Associate / AVP (Contract Basis). We are seeking a self-starter with a solid academic grounding and energetic, good interpersonal attributes to join our General Partner’s Finance team. The position is regional and based in Kuala Lumpur. Remuneration and position are commensurate with experience. This is a contractual role that can lead to full-time employment depending on business growth and mutual agreement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements including book-keeping for full sets of accounts, cash flow reporting and related notes for statutory reporting and ad-hoc assignments.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to comply with local statutory regulations.
• Liaise with tax agents on regulatory tax reporting.
• Execute treasury payments, liaise with corporate bank personnel, monitor daily cash movements, and handle cross-charging billing for related entities.
• Liaise with corporate secretaries on the full scope of corporate secretarial work including submission of annual returns.
• Acquire knowledge in reviewing legal agreements and monitor milestones in agreements.
• Liaise with auditors, outsourced vendors and external stakeholders for TAEL entities in the ASEAN region.

To excel in this role, you should possess

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm or financial reporting role in a fund management company.
• Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in day-to-day finance operations.
• Excellent tertiary qualifications with a professional qualification in accounting (preferably ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent) as an added advantage.
• Ability to analyse and articulate financial data to support management decision-making.
• Organised, resourceful, responsible and solution-oriented work approach.
• A pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills to interact at all levels and work effectively across cultures.
• A team player with a solution-oriented approach and the ability to work independently under pressure.
