Job Description:

We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join the APAC Treasury Operations team, with a primary focus on supporting treasury activities across Southeast Asia. This role will be responsible for daily cash management, liquidity planning, trade‑related treasury activities, and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, regional treasury experience, and the ability to work effectively in a cross‑cultural environment.

Responsibilities include daily cash positioning, cash management, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis between actuals and forecasts; support to the Southeast Asia Treasury Lead in liquidity planning and management; maintaining a basic understanding of local bank signer mandate regulations and supporting related bank account management activities; knowledge of bank guarantees and monitoring of bank guarantee applications and credit line usage; extending support to regional/global projects as needed; ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements (such as FX control) and 3M global financial standards.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years of treasury experience in an MNC environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with general FX regulations and ability to assess impacts of policy updates
  • Strong numeracy & analytical skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel and SAP; Kyriba experience is a plus; familiarity with technical tools such as Power BI
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and drive process improvements
  • Experience working in cross‑cultural teams; strong team orientation with the ability to motivate self and others
