Job summary
A technology solutions company based in Penang is looking for a software developer. The role involves developing software, executing test plans, and identifying complex technical problems. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer, IT, or Engineering and have a solid understanding of programming languages such as C/C++, C#, and Python. Qualifications
- Degree holder in Computer, IT, or Engineering field.
- Preferably with 3 years of working experience in software development and support.
- Knowledge of telecommunication concepts is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop software and execute test plans/scripts as per specifications.
- Identify and solve complex technical problems.
- Create API libraries for re-usability.
- Coordinate and participate in test design and script review.
Skills
Education
- Develop software and execute test plans/scripts in the commercial and industrial segments per specifications.
- Identify and solve complex technical problems requiring proper evaluation and analysis.
- Participate in development process, and possess a good understanding of the software life cycle.
- Create API libraries for re‑usability.
- Coordinate and participate in development, test design and script review.
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
- Degree holder in Computer/IT/Engineering field.
- Good knowledge of C/C++, C#, Python, XML and .NET development.
- Good technical, analytical and trouble‑shooting skills.
- Knowledge of telecommunication concepts would be an advantage.
- Android OS/Apps/ LTE knowledge will be added advantage.
- Preferably with 3 years of working experience in software development and support.
