Job summary
A technology company based in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking an individual for equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Diploma in Science/Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include setup, maintenance, and driving project tasks related to equipment. Candidates should possess strong hardware skills and adaptability to changing work environments. The role requires working onsite, promoting collaboration and accountability within the team.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in equipment maintenance.
- Strong sense of analytical skills with hands-on working attitude.
- Experience in high mix and high volume manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for transfer, setup, and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain and improve equipment uptime.
- Identify and resolve quality problems associated with equipment.
- Ensure equipment delivers good quality services/products.
- Drive technical project tasks to completion per schedule.
Skills
Education
- Responsible for all the transfer, setup and maintenance of equipment in line with ACD product transfer from Fuzhou.
- To maintain and improve equipment uptime.
- Identify and quantifies quality problems associated with equipment and / or processes and provide solutions.
- Always ensure the equipment implemented deliver the good and right quality services/product to the customers.
- Drive technical project tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule
- Performs any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
- Bachelor or Diploma in Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in equipment maintenance (functional skills).
- Strong hardware skills to diagnose, assembly and support variety of production equipment.
- Good computer literacy and basic SPC knowledge
- Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
- Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
- Experience working in high mix and high volume manufacturing environment, and/or assembly, SMT, PCBA manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
- Experience in supervising a team of maintenance personnel will be an added advantage.
