OBJECTIVES
  • Provide pre & post commissioning technical services and assistance to Axens licensed Resid and VGO FCC technology units, including performance monitoring, troubleshooting & root cause analyses from office.
  • On‑site support for unit start‑ups and shutdown, troubleshooting, inspections for process units.
  • Provide training in classroom and supported by OTS.
Missions
  • Perform unit follow‑up analyzing and monitoring the performances of current operating units in close coordination with the dedicated Technical Services Group from Axens head Quarter (France) and Axens SEA.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and report to Technical Services Group to make decisions.
  • Supervise field activities during on‑site missions, write procedures and reports related to these missions.
  • Manage client interface during high stress situations such as start‑ups, turnarounds, and emergencies.
  • Provide feedback for improvements in designs and procedures based on field experiences.
  • Work closely with other members of the Technical Services Group to acquire a good knowledge of Axens processes.
  • Participate in the promotion of Axens on its technology and services during technical meetings and conferences.
  • Participate in the animation of client trainings.
  • Promote and adhere to Quality standards in accordance with the Axens Headquarter Management Political and QHSE objectives when on site.
  • Fulfil the above at the expected Axens standard.
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIRED LEVEL
  • Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Chemical/Mechanical or equivalent.
  • At minimum 10 years of experience in operation and/or providing technical support for refinery, including process unit up/downstream FCC unit.
  • At minimum 5 years of experience in unit operation and/or technical support for refinery, or equivalent technical services position for other FCC licensor.
  • Good knowledge on operation and technical support on Axens technology for process up/downstream FCC unit (Hyvahl™ or equivalent, PrimeG+® or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Teamwork skills and ability to build‑up long term relationships with the customers.
  • Entrepreneurship and customer oriented spirit.
  • Experience with working in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Well organized, rigorous, autonomous and responsible, analytical skills.
  • Required language(s): proficient in English.
  • The candidate must be prepared to travel often.
