Job summary
A leading hyperscale data centre developer is looking for an experienced Project Manager (Electrical) to lead large-scale construction projects in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle while ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met. The ideal candidate will have at least 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure projects, strong leadership skills, and knowledge of electrical codes. - Develop and implement strategies for electrical systems design, installation, and performance optimization.
- Oversee contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless integration of M&E systems.
- Ensure all works meet safety and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or building projects, preferably data centres or other critical facilities.
- Proven track record in managing electrical construction, testing, and commissioning works.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction best practices.
