Senior Accounts Controller: End-to-End Financial Stewardship
Job summary
A leading finance company in Malaysia is looking for an experienced accounting professional to oversee full set accounts, management reporting, and audit readiness. With 3-5 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will be proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel, possess a strong understanding of month-end processes, and demonstrate excellent language skills in English. This role offers a challenging environment with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in full set accounts, audit, intercompany reconciliations.
- Strong capabilities in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin/Bahasa is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain full set accounts including AP, AR, and GL.
- Prepare management packs with balance sheets and cash flow analysis.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasts with subsidiaries and track actuals.
