BAT Malaysia has an exciting opportunity for a Travel Retail Training Specialist.

The Travel Retail Training Specialist drives the design and delivery of impactful training programs that enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service excellence. By managing Brand Ambassador training, aligning with brand strategies, and customizing content by region and channel, the role supports in-store execution, NPI launches, and long-term business growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Design and deliver engaging training sessions and e-learning modules to enhance product knowledge, NPI training, and customer service excellence.
  • Develop, organize, and implement training programs specifically for Brand Ambassadors across markets, aligned with brand and organizational objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate the global training calendar across all product categories, ensuring content is customized to suit regional, category, and channel-specific needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, while maintaining and updating training materials to reflect each market’s portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Trade and external stakeholders to identify training needs, lead brand and category training campaigns, and partner with vendors for specialized initiatives.
What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Learning & Development or related areas.
  • Proven training & development skills, project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
