Technical Product Manager / Owner (Mobile)
We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the end-to-end creation and launch of a next-generation mobile platform. In this high-impact role, reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you’ll drive excellence across the product development lifecycle through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the development and launch of a best-in-class mobile app.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture to understand the technology stack, influence architectural decisions, and ensure scalability.
- Manage the technical product backlog, prioritising tasks, guiding estimation, identifying dependencies, and addressing technical debt.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and foster a collaborative culture within development teams and engagement with the wider business community and strategy.
- Oversee release management with your QA, SRE and engineering team to ensure smooth and predictable deployments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for development squads and communicate effectively with all stakeholders on roadmap delivery and technical concepts.
- Co-create development tasks and technical documentation with architects and developers.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of proven success as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or Technical Business Analyst.
- Experience working in JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro (or similar tools) in a masterful way.
- Experience developing and supporting mobile applications (iOS and Android) used by thousands of retail customers.
- Strong grasp of mobile development principles (native, hybrid, cross-platform frameworks like React Native), understanding of mobile-specific APIs, performance optimization for mobile, and considerations for offline functionality and data synchronization.
- Knowledge of mobile-specific testing methodologies, including device testing, network condition testing, performance and security testing.
- Excellent interpersonal, and presentation skills to clearly communicate delivery progress and timelines in different ways.
- Strong project and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Experience cooperating with Engineering Leads to get the most out of development teams.
- Strong technical writing ability with experience co-creating and reviewing technical specifications and tasks.
- Experience managing and communicating releases to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience implementing agile processes and being able to adapt to the needs and capabilities of the business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in using mobile analytics tools to track user behavior, identify funnels, measure engagement, and inform product decisions.
- Proven experience in optimizing app store listings to improve discoverability and conversion rates on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Experience working with hybrid, remote, in-house, outsourced, and mixed-capability development teams.
- Experience working with tech stacks - such as C#, Python, Javascript / Typescript.
