Job summary
A leading construction company in Selangor, Malaysia, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in civil and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing sub-contract documents, evaluating site progress, and managing contracts and payments. Strong skills in taking-off and contract administration are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in civil, infrastructure or building works.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sub-contract tender document for Procurement.
- Attend to site evaluation and joint measurement.
- Review and certify sub-contractors' payment.
Skills
Education
Prepare sub-contract tender document for Procurement, evaluation report and Letter of Award to successful sub-contractors.
Prepare and submit monthly progress payment.
Attend to site evaluation / joint measurement.
Review, recommend, certify and ‘check n balance’ of sub-contractors’ payment. Prepare and submit variation order and claims.
Prepare final measurement and account.
Assist in value engineering, cost optimization and budget setting.
Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building Survey / Construction Management or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years of experience in civil, infrastructure or building works.
Good in Taking-off and Contracts Administrative Works.
