Safety, Health & Environmental cum Warehouse Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety, Health, and Environmental cum Warehouse Specialist to join our team. This role will take responsibilities for a safety, health, environmental and warehouse functions to ensure smooth business operations and liaise with government authorities in relation to Safety, Health and Environmental matters. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain all Safety, Health, and Environmental documents, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Regularly update and ensure the accessibility of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and comply with class regulations.
  • Develop SOP for Environment, Health, and Safety issues within the company.
  • Compile reports for the Site Management based on systematically evaluated data, complying with legal regulations, and reporting requirements for Plant Management and EHS representatives (cover implementation status, monitoring, training, and action plan).
  • Educate, train, supervise and motivate employees & workers to conduct activities in a safe environment.
  • Schedule and manage waste disposal in the plant.
  • Liaise with government authorities in relation to Safety, Health, and Environmental matters.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior.
  • Unloading and uploading materials safely and accurately.
  • Record warehouse transactions including receiving and shipping.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels; report any discrepancies.
  • Store materials properly to ensure easy retrieval and space optimization.
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift) safely to move, stack, and retrieve items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate, bachelor’s degree/Post Graduate Professional Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
  • 4 years’ experience in Safety, Health and Environmental in Chemical industry is much preferable or in another related field.
  • Good knowledge in ESH Regulations.
  • Good knowledge in Warehouse operations is much preferable.
  • Forklift driving experience and a valid forklift license is a plus.
  • Required Skill(s): Health and Safety Standard, Management is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
