Test Engineer - Product Development is responsible for full test development and release ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) solution to manufacturing for new products. It involves test software generation, schematic and hardware creation, debug, customer sampling, correlation, characterization, qualification, and production buyoff. This role requires collaboration across different disciplines including design engineer, application engineer, business manager, project manager, reliability, manufacturing, and other teams during development. The Test Engineer will need to optimize test cost, maintain excellent outgoing quality through comprehensive test coverage, and meet cycle time for critical project milestones. Other responsibilities include quality enhancement and cost reduction activities such as implementation of test containment for customer issues, test time reduction, and test platform transfers.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce – Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State – Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
