Responsible for designing, building, implementing, and maintaining computer networks. To ensure the network runs smoothly, securely, and efficiently, while also providing technical support and troubleshooting any network-related issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan and implement
- Plan and design network infrastructure that meets the organization’s requirements.
- Build and implement new network systems.
- Select appropriate hardware and software for the network.
2. Maintain and support
- Monitor and maintain existing networks to ensure they operate properly.
- Troubleshoot and repair network and hardware issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance to avoid problems.
- Provide technical support to users.
- Ensure data and network security by implementing measures such as antivirus management and data backups.
3. Management and administration
- Manage user accounts and emails.
- Prepare and maintain an inventory of technology infrastructure assets.
- Monitor the performance of network systems.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management, such as handling the procurement of materials and spare parts.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 to 5 years of working experience in the field of computer networking.
- Computer networking: In-depth knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and networking technologies such as firewalls, core switches, access switches, and WAPs.
- Operating systems: Understanding of various operating systems such as Windows and Linux, including installation and administration.
- Cybersecurity: Ability to protect systems from cyber threats, viruses, threat detection, and data encryption.
- Database management: Knowledge of database management systems and storage solutions such as SQL, SUN, and NAS.
