We are seeking a motivated Paralegal to provide legal, corporate secretarial, and advisory support to the General Counsel and the regional legal team. This role offers exposure to diverse corporate legal matters, including legal advisory, regulatory, corporate secretarial, and transactional work.
Assist in providing legal advice on day-to-day business operations and corporate matters across departments such as sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, and procurement.
Conduct legal research and prepare briefing notes on relevant laws and regulations.
Draft and review agreements, letters, and other legal documents.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel on legal issues.
Draft and review board resolutions and related governance documents.
Prepare briefing materials for directors and ensure timely distribution.
Coordinate collection of signatures and manage document execution processes.
Organise and maintain legal files and transaction records.
Support scheduling and logistics for meetings.
Manage invoicing arrangements with external law firms, including tracking and processing purchase orders and invoices.
Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognised Commonwealth university.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
